Dear Valued Customer,
Roche has issued an Urgent Medical Device Correction (UMDC) on the Accu-Chek Aviva Plus and Accu-Chek SmartView test strips for potentially open or damaged vials. If you have distributed the products noted to consumer customers, please make this UMDC available to those customers who have received the products in the last 18 months.
This is not a product recall, and it is not necessary to return your inventory to GEMCO Medical. Consumers that may have affected test strips are advised to call Accu-Chek Customer Care directly.
